Legal

Privacy Policy

EFFECTIVE — AUGUST 16, 2026

1. Scope

This policy covers sigmaclava.com (the “Site”), operated by SigmaClava LLC, a Texas limited liability company and a Maison TergaDo company. It describes what the Site actually collects and how it is used. It does not cover other properties the Site links to, or engagements governed by an executed written agreement, which carry their own terms.

2. What we collect

The Site sets no cookies and runs no analytics, advertising, or tracking of any kind. We collect personal information in exactly one place: if you write to us through the correspondence form, we receive what you choose to send — your name, email address, optional affiliation, and message. Separately, our hosting infrastructure processes standard server logs (IP address, requested page, browser user agent) to serve the Site and protect it from abuse; if spam protection is enabled on the form, its verification is processed for the same purpose.

3. How we use it

Correspondence is used to read and respond to you, to keep a record of the exchange, and for no other purpose. It is not sold, rented, shared for marketing, used for advertising or profiling, or added to any mailing list. For visitors in jurisdictions that require a legal basis: we process correspondence on the basis of our legitimate interest in reading and answering messages sent to us, and log data on the basis of our legitimate interest in operating and securing the Site.

4. Who processes it

We use a small number of service providers to operate the Site: a hosting provider (serving the Site and its logs), an email delivery provider (transmitting form submissions to us), and, if enabled, a spam-protection provider (verifying that a submission is human). Each processes data solely to provide its service to us. We may also disclose information if required by law, or in connection with a corporate transaction involving SigmaClava LLC, in which case this policy continues to apply to it.

5. Retention

Correspondence is retained as long as the exchange itself warrants and then disposed of in the ordinary course. Transient copies in our form-delivery infrastructure are retained for up to ninety days. Server logs are retained on our hosting provider’s standard schedule.

6. Security

We take reasonable measures appropriate to a site of this kind — the Site is served over HTTPS, collects nothing beyond the above, and stores no accounts or credentials. No transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot and do not guarantee absolute security.

7. Your rights

You may ask what we hold about you, and ask that it be corrected or deleted, by writing to us through the correspondence form. We honor such requests except where law requires retention. Depending on where you live, you may have additional statutory rights (for example under the GDPR, UK GDPR, or U.S. state privacy laws), which you may exercise the same way; you also have the right to complain to your local supervisory authority.

8. Children

The Site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, write to us and we will delete it.

9. International visitors

SigmaClava LLC is a United States company. Information sent to the Site is processed in the United States, which may have different data-protection rules than your jurisdiction. By writing to us you understand your correspondence will be processed there.

10. Changes

If this policy changes, the revised version will be posted here with a new effective date. The Site announces changes in no other way, so check this page if it matters to you.
